Sebastian Osorio is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, focusing on low-carbon electricity systems and the European Emission Trading Scheme since July 2017. Previously, Sebastian served as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Université de Lausanne, contributing to undergraduate courses in decision analysis from September 2012 to June 2017. Earlier roles included a Teaching and Research Assistant at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where responsibilities encompassed systems simulation and operations research, as well as a Junior Researcher at the Research Centre in Applied Energy Technologies. Sebastian's academic credentials include a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Lausanne, an MSc in Systems Engineering, and a BSc in Industrial Engineering, all from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
