Wolfram Barfuss is an accomplished academic currently serving as Assistant Professor at both The University of Bonn and the Zentrum für Entwicklungsforschung / Center for Development Research (ZEF) since February 2023. In addition, Wolfram Barfuss holds roles as a Guest Researcher and Research Scientist at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since June 2015, and previously worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Tuebingen from April 2021 to January 2023. Further experience includes positions at Princeton University, University of Leeds, and the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, among others. Wolfram Barfuss earned a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, after completing a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Physics at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
