Kelly Fischer

Kelly Fischer is a seasoned professional in human resources and benefits administration with extensive experience across several organizations. Currently serving as the Payroll Benefits Coordinator for Pottawattamie County, Iowa since August 2025, responsibilities include managing payroll and County employee benefits while maintaining confidential health records. Previously, as the Employee Benefits Specialist for Council Bluffs Community School District from November 2018 to September 2025, Kelly oversaw benefit and retirement programs and coordinated safety and wellness committees. Earlier roles included serving as Human Resources Director at Iowa Western Community College, where comprehensive HR functions were managed, and as Accounts Payable at VKGS LLC, where financial duties were performed. Kelly holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Buena Vista University and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Iowa Western Community College.
