Chief Human Resources Officer at Poudre School District

Erich WonSavage has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Erich  currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Poudre School District, starting in 2022. Prior to this, Erich worked at the Mental Health Center of Denver from 2018 to 2022, holding the position of Director of Human Resources. In this role, they managed a team of eight and oversaw various HR operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement programs.

Before joining the Mental Health Center of Denver, Erich worked at Sia Work Solutions from 2016 to 2021 as a Facilitator, where they provided consultation on compliance training, workplace equity, and leadership development for different organizations.

Erich also has experience as a Human Resources Director at South Suburban Parks and Recreation from 2017 to 2018 and at the City of Littleton from 2008 to 2017. In these roles, they directed HR strategies, managed labor negotiations, and implemented risk management programs.

Additionally, Erich worked as an Adjunct Professor at Everest College Canada in 2013 and as a Human Resources Director at South Metro Fire Rescue Authority from 2006 to 2008.

Their early career included a role as an HR Manager at the Mental Health Center of Denver from 1999 to 2006.

Throughout their career, Erich has demonstrated their competence in various HR processes, leadership, compliance, employee retention, performance management, and strategic planning. Erich  has also shown proficiency in diversity, equity, and inclusion, recruitment, data analysis, and problem-solving.

Erich WonSavage holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources & Project Management from Regis University. Erich  also earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications & Business from the University of St. Thomas. In addition to their academic qualifications, Erich has obtained various certifications in their field, including MBTI Trainer from CPP, Mediator from Mares-Dixon & Associates, Organizational Development Facilitator from Employer's Council, Predictive Index from The Predictive Index, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from HRCI, Radical Collaboration Trainer from The Schutz Company, and SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM.
