The board of directors at Poudre School District has a history of experience with camps and elementary education. The current director, John Smith, was a camp director at Planet Bravo and a 4th grade teacher at Los Angeles Unified School District before becoming the director of Poudre School District. John Smith has a degree in psychology from University of California, Los Angeles and a degree in elementary education and teaching from California State University, Northridge.
