Josh Paiva

Josh Paiva, MBA, NRP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different industries. Josh founded and served as CEO at ColoVAX, providing public health services in Colorado. Josh also worked as a Lead Paramedic at UCHealth, as a Program Manager of COVID-19 Operations Chief at Larimer County, and as a Management Consultant at HWC. Josh founded Oakton Tax & Accounting and served as Founder & CEO. Previously, Josh held roles as Operations Captain at Calvert Advanced Life Support, Captain in the US Army, on the Executive Briefing Team at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, as a Firefighter/Paramedic at DC Fire and EMS Department, and as an IT Management Analyst at the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division. Josh'sroles involved leadership, emergency response, management, consulting, and public health service provision.

Josh Paiva completed their Bachelor's of Science in EHS & Poli Sci from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2012. Josh then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Impact MBA (Global Social Sustainable Entrepreneurship) from Colorado State University in 2022. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Paramedic from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians obtained in 2010.
