Scott Smith

Scott Smith, MD, currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at UCHealth since December 2024, leading a renowned team focused on enhancing patient care. Prior to this role, Scott held positions such as Senior Vice President and Medical Director of Value Based Care at Millennium Physician Group, where emphasis was on improving health outcomes and patient experiences. With extensive experience at CHRISTUS Health, Scott was Vice President and Senior Vice President in various capacities, overseeing a large network of providers and working towards optimizing population health and patient satisfaction. Scott's career also includes significant roles at Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics, Kaiser Permanente, and service as a Staff Physician in the United States Air Force. Educational credentials include a Medical Doctor degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch and training in Internal Medicine at Keesler Air Force Base, complemented by a brief legal education at Harvard Law School.
