Ian Austin

Ian Austin is an experienced professional with a strong background in human resources and management. Currently serving as the People Project Lead at Poundland & Dealz since September 2017, Ian leads a team to implement a new HRIS and payroll system while promoting continuous improvement within the People team. Ian previously held various roles at Poundland & Dealz, including Shared Services Manager and HR Programme Manager, focusing on creating engaging workplaces and achieving service level agreements. Before this, Ian worked at KFC UK & Ireland as an International Business Analyst and Restaurant Coach, and at Barclays in multiple managerial positions, where engagement and customer service were prioritized. Ian's educational background includes attendance at Clough Hall Technology College from 1998 to 2005.
