Andrew Sherman has extensive experience in the fields of advanced materials and energy technologies. Currently an investor at Magnet Energy, Sherman focuses on commercializing novel magnet technologies and metal powder products. As the founder of Cratus LLC, Sherman leads efforts in energy storage and portable power solutions utilizing advanced materials. In addition, as Principal at Hybrid Materials LLC, Sherman oversees the development of nanocomposite coatings and wear components for harsh environments. As the Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Terves Inc., Sherman develops multifunctional materials for oil and gas applications. Sherman also provides consultancy services through Energy Materials Consultants and serves as Chairman of Powdermet, a leader in nanoengineered powder metallurgy. Past contributions include founding MesoCoat Inc., which specializes in high-performance coating solutions for various industries. Sherman's academic background includes multiple degrees in Ceramic and Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
