Shemoel Recalde

Shemoel Recalde is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in product and brand design across various companies. Currently serving as Product Design Lead at Power since April 2024, Shemoel previously held the position of Head of Design at Tango, where mentoring and team leadership were key responsibilities. At Airtable, Shemoel led the Growth Org Design function, focusing on user experience and monetization strategies. Notable contributions as Director of Product Design at Thumbtack included enhancing customer experiences and launching innovative teams. Additionally, Shemoel held significant roles at Curology, Pandora, and Turo, where leadership in design processes and user engagement were emphasized. Early career highlights include co-founding Chromavision and holding design roles at Creativebug and Apple. Shemoel holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design + Technology from the San Francisco Art Institute and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting + Interdisciplinary Studies from the Kansas City Art Institute.
