Emily Berkeley

Emily Berkeley has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2006, they worked as a Municipal Development Engineer for the Peace Corps, where they created maps and conducted a municipal census. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Researcher for the Federal Aviation Administration, designing and executing projects to identify maintenance-induced failures. Emily then owned and managed a commercial poultry business from 2012 to 2014, reducing mortality rates and refining vaccination plans. In 2015, Emily worked as a Software Developer for Icalia Labs, increasing test coverage and improving functionality for an inventory and order tracking application. From 2016 to 2019, they joined NextRequest as a Software Developer and later became a Senior Software Developer, contributing to the development of software solutions. Currently, they work as a Software Developer at Power Auctions LLC.

Emily Berkeley has a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Kenyon College, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Emily then pursued a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley from 2003 to 2004. Following this, they pursued another Master's Degree, this time in City Planning, at the University of California, Berkeley from 2004 to 2006. Finally, in 2014 and 2015, Emily attended the Turing School of Software & Design and obtained a Certificate of Web Application Development with Ruby, Rails, and JavaScript.
