Karim Abbasi

Karim Abbasi is a seasoned professional in the field of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), currently serving as the Sr. Assistant Manager HSE at Power Cement Ltd since August 2017, with prior roles including Assistant Manager HSE and Sr. Health Safety Environment Officer. Karim's career began at MARATHON CONSTRUCTION as an HSE Officer from January 2015 to March 2016, followed by a similar position at IZHAR Construction Pvt Ltd. from April 2016 to August 2017. Karim gained initial industry experience as a Summer Intern at Lucky Cement Limited in June 2012, focusing on drilling and blasting operations. An alumnus of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Karim holds an Engineer's Degree in drilling technology, explosives engineering, and mine safety and health, and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology.
