Patrick Mercier

Mr. Mercier has served as Vice-President of Power Corporation since 2023. In his role, he advises and supports the Corporation and its group companies on matters related to strategy and capital allocation.

Before joining Power Corporation, Mr. Mercier was Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he was most recently leader of the Canadian insurance practice and co-leader of the global business building practice in financial services. Previously, Mr. Mercier held the positions of Financial Sector Advisor to the Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, and of International Manager at HSBC Bank Plc where he was based in India and the United Kingdom.
