This position is ONLY available for Colombia residents based in Colombia.

***This is a contract position with the intent to hire as a full-time employee in 30-90 days after start date.
A day in the life:
- As a QA Engineer, you will be spending most of your time testing Nova platform features. Since testing involves communication and conversations between developers, product managers, design teams, engineering managers, and solutions architects, it is important to provide clear explanations and instructions. Testing features will be both Manual and Automation to enhance the stability and reliability of the nova platform.
- In addition, as a part of our technology team, you will contribute to our nova software by designing and implementing test plans and regression suites and integrating test automation into our CICD pipelines. This includes participating in agile development processes like sprint planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives, sprint boards, backlogs, and ticket management. You will work with team members to continue to grow the department's capabilities and support our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automated test cases in CICD Pipelines: Involves Regression testing in both Front End (UI) and Back End (API).
- Create and maintain technical documentation covering Quality Assurance process and workflow: create and maintain test case documentation for reporting QA progress as a whole.
- Work with Product, Development, and Design teams to build and maintain test plans for new and existing features.
- Identify, analyze, and document details of defects found during current or backlog testings.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinements, daily scrums, and sprint retrospectives.
Role Requirements:
- Knowledge of Python programming language for Automation: Selenium UI Automation, GraphQL Backend Automation, Load Testing Automation.
- Ability to “Think outside the box” for feature testing using “Dev Tool Kit” for Web Browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc): Having excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, paying exceptional attention to detail, and using “Edge-Case” finding methods.
- Possess good oral and written English communication skills.
- Being a great team player and able to work efficiently in a Sprint/Scrum environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Successfully completing QA tasks for an assigned roadmap in a timely manner.
- Coordinating with engineers on issues identified during QA process.
- Writing automation for completed features in a timely manner.
Most Important Things (MITs)
- 2+ years of automation testing experience in web or mobile applications: High proficiency in Computer Science & Programming languages.
- Good organizational skills in test case management and documentation.
- Always looking to improve and innovate QA processes.
- Infrastructure or Framework changes that would provide more productivity or efficiency.
