Bálint Szűk

Bálint Szűk has a diverse work experience in the field of electronic engineering. Bálint first worked as a Test Engineer at Power Integrations starting in 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Laboratory Test Engineer at the European Space Agency from 2017 to 2018.

Before that, Bálint worked at CERN, starting in 2015, as an Electronic Engineer focusing on automated production testbench development. Bálint'sresponsibilities included defining testbench specifications, selecting suitable technology for automation, designing software and FPGA firmware modules, and conducting validation tests. Bálint also designed and assembled a PCB for testing the VME interface of the electronic board.

At CERN, Bálint initially worked as a Junior Electronic Engineer from 2012 to 2014. In this role, they focused on the development of control and data acquisition software using LabVIEW for MEMS characterization purposes. Bálint'sresponsibilities included defining software functionalities, designing and implementing LabVIEW software, and supporting the design and layout of interface PCBs.

Bálint Szűk completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electronics Technology, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance at Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2008 to 2012. Bálint then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Óbuda University - Kálmán Kandó Faculty of Electrical Engineering from 2014 to 2016.

In terms of additional certifications, Bálint obtained the Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) certification in November 2013 from National Instruments Switzerland. Bálint also completed the LabVIEW FPGA Training Course Certification and the LabVIEW Real-Time 1 Training Course Certification in January 2014, both from the same institution.
