Dr. Sudhakar Chakkirala

Dr. Sudhakar Chakkirala has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Dr. Sudhakar is currently working at Power Integrations as a Senior Applications Engineering Manager since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Application Engineering Manager from March 2022 to August 2022. Dr. Sudhakar also worked as a Senior Staff Application Engineer from April 2020 to February 2022, and as a Staff Application Engineer from May 2019 to March 2020 at Power Integrations.

Before joining Power Integrations, Dr. Chakkirala worked at Artesyn Embedded Technologies as a Principal Engineer from April 2018 to April 2019, and as a Senior Lead Engineer from January 2014 to April 2018.

Dr. Sudhakar also gained experience at Emerson Network Power as a Lead Engineer from December 2010 to December 2013, and at Delta Power Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd as an Assistant Manager from December 2009 to November 2010.

Dr. Chakkirala has prior experience with Delta Electronics (India) Pvt.Ltd as a Lead Engineer from November 2009 to December 2009, and with Delta Shanghai Design Centre (SDC) as a Senior Engineer from August 2008 to November 2009.

Their early work experience includes being a Lead Engineer in R&D at Delta Electronics (India) Pvt. Ltd from May 2007 to August 2008, and a Research Scholar at IIT Delhi from January 2003 to April 2007.

Dr. Sudhakar Chakkirala obtained their Ph.D. in Power Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, completing their studies in 2008. Prior to that, they pursued an M.Tech in Power Electronics from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, which they completed from 2000 to 2002. Dr. Chakkirala's foundational education includes a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Andhra University, which they earned from 1996 to 2000.
