Jimmy Liu

Jimmy Liu has a diverse work experience in the power electronics industry. Jimmy is currently working as a Sr. Manager for New Product Development at Power Integrations. Previously, they held the position of Technical Marketing Director at GaN Systems Inc. from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they worked at Infineon Technologies as a Sr. Technical Manager, where they focused on Application Engineering and Technical Marketing for CoolSiC MOSFET. From 2012 to 2016, they served as the Sr. Manager of Power Application Engineering, Asia Pacific at Wolfspeed, A Cree Company. Prior to that, they worked as a Power Application & Business Development Manager at Texas Instruments from 2007 to 2012. Jimmy started their career as an Electronics Design Engineer at Emerson Network Power from 1999 to 2001 and later took on the role of Sr. Design Engineer from 2006 to 2007.

Jimmy Liu obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 1995 to 1999. Jimmy then pursued their Master's degree in Power Electronics at South China University of Technology from 2000 to 2003. Lastly, they completed their educational journey with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Power Electronics from South China University of Technology from 2003 to 2006.
