Shawn Liu

Shawn Liu's work experience begins in 2002 as a Marketing Communications Writer for Fun Travel World, where they led catalog revisions and authored newspaper articles. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Freelancer/Photographer for the San Francisco Examiner, where they wrote and photographed cover stories and conducted interviews. In 2014, they became an Ads Quality Rater at Google, reviewing and rating advertisement relevancy. From 2008 to 2016, Liu worked at World Journal as an Assignment Editor, overseeing marketing packages and optimizing content for online channels. Shawn then joined LeEco US in 2016 as a Senior Manager, Content Marketing, managing marketing campaigns and membership growth. Currently, since 2018, they are a Web Content Producer & Editor at Power Integrations, responsible for email blasts, social media content, and web maintenance in English and Chinese.

Shawn Liu began their education in 2004 at City College of San Francisco, where they pursued a field of study in Journalism. Shawn completed their Junior Transfer program at this institution in 2006. Following this, Shawn continued their education at the University of California, Berkeley from 2006 to 2008. During their time at UC Berkeley, they focused on Mass Communication/Media Studies and earned their Bachelor's Degree in this field.
