Akhtar completed his PhD in Thin Film Photovoltaic from Southampton University at the School of Electronics and Computer Science in 2014.
Before joining Power Roll, he worked as Development Engineer at ECSP-University of Southampton, Cardiff University, Seagate Technology, Huawei Technologies, and Evince Technology.
His specializations are vacuum coating (PVD and CVD) and data analytics.
