Katelyn Mizer

Katelyn Mizer is a New Product Development Engineer at Powerex, beginning in January 2024, where responsibilities include designing and creating new products and assembling them using Solid Edge. Previously, Katelyn worked as a Controls Engineer at Powerex from May 2023 to August 2023, focusing on coding for HMI's and PLC's, creating wire diagrams and electrical drawings with AutoCAD, and leading student shadowing sessions. Katelyn also held a prior position as a Controls Engineer at Powerex from August 2022 to December 2022, working on electrical wiring diagrams and coding for PLC’s and HMI’s used in medical equipment for hospitals and laboratories. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, Katelyn is expected to graduate in April 2026.
