Gabriel Strauss

Gabriel Strauss has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gabriel most recently worked as a Business Development Manager at PowerFlex, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were employed by USAI Lighting for five years, from November 2017 to July 2022, where they served as a Specification Sales Manager. In this role, Gabriel managed multiple residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, organized sales events, and acted as a liaison between architects, developers, contractors, and distributors.

Before joining USAI Lighting, Gabriel worked as a Sales Associate in New York City for the same company from September 2016 to August 2017. Here, they provided LED retrofit solutions to architectural and design firms and managed various projects with tight deadlines and complex design specifications.

From October 2012 to May 2016, Gabriel held the position of Environmental Point Person at Patagonia. Gabriel led the NYC Environmental Grant Distribution Team and facilitated restoration and community building projects for several nonprofit organizations in the tristate area.

Gabriel's career began in October 2010 as an Event Coordinator/Assistant at Astic Productions, where they gained experience in event planning and execution for various organizations and prestigious venues such as The Beacon Theatre, Alice Tully Hall, and Dizzy's Club T. W.

Gabriel Strauss attended The Beacon School from 2004 to 2008, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. At Hunter College, Gabriel pursued a degree in Geography & Resource Management, focusing on the fields of Geography and History.
