Job Description

The Market Researcher is responsible for performing research and analyzing consumer behavior, trends, and response to internal and client marketing campaigns, as well as providing any necessary business writing for internal brands or external clients. Also, working on marketing plans which include customer profiling, pain points, market sizing, etc.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

- Familiarize yourself with each organization's brand ideals and website to create content that supports their objectives and desired identity

- To perform research and analyze consumer behavior, trends, and response to marketing campaigns

- Collect and study information about customers, sales trends, products, and services to direct our future business and marketing plans

- Use your experience with consumer opinion collection methods to design, administer, and interpret surveys, experiments, focus groups, polls, market research, sales data, etc.

- Work with data analysts to translate consumer data into functional and accessible information that can help us change or revise a product, service, marketing strategy, or sales tactic

- Collect data, analyze, and provide insights in regard to marketing opportunities

- Make recommendations based on the findings

- Presenting relevant information, analytics and statistics in various formats

- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that marketing efforts are on-brand

- Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of our company and external clients

Job Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience or in a similar role

- Qualification in communications, journalism, English or related fields.

- Good analytical skills

- Very good understanding of programs like Excel and PowerPoint to collect and visualize data

- Ability to understand trends and read data collected and be very comfortable with qualitative analysis

- Ability to write content with a business flair
