Paul Simshauser has a strong background in the energy sector. Paul is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Powerlink Queensland since June 2020. Prior to this role, they held positions such as Professor of Economics at the Centre for Applied Energy Economics and Policy Research (CAEEPR) since October 2004 and Associate at the University of Cambridge's Energy Policy Research Group since April 2018. Paul also worked as the Executive General Manager of Energy Markets at Infigen Energy from December 2017 to May 2020.
