K. Prasad

Prasad is the Executive Director of Operations. He oversees the operations of a few business units from CMD’s office. He possesses 27 years of experience with Brown and Green field projects and O&M of thermal power plants. He is adept at dealing with statutory bodies and government authorities with unassuming gestures in his deliveries.

He joined Power Mech as a Sr. VP in the year 2017. Prior to this he had worked with a few other power majors such as Indwell and KSK Mahanadi Power Company. His initial role at Power Mech was the head of cross-country pipelines. He established very strong project management and techno-commercial teams for this division and was instrumental in Power Mech winning and completing a few cross-country pipeline laying projects. Few projects handled by him are – Laying of 16″ OD, 22.5 Km R – LNG pipeline from Ennore LNG terminal to MFL along with 6.625″ OD, 1.5 km spur lines and associated combined station works of ETMBPL natural gas pipeline Project, Laying 18” OD, 511 Km cross-country product pipeline from Dumad Station (Vadodara, Gujarat) to Akolner Station (Ahmednagar, Maharashtra), Laying 18” OD, 143.00 Km Cross-Country R – LNG Pipeline from Ramanathapuram to Tuticorin Receiving Terminal.
