David Stevens

David Stevens is an experienced leader in human resources and organizational management, currently serving as the Acting Chief Executive and previously holding multiple GM roles at PowerNet since September 2019. Stevens has extensive experience in the aluminium industry, having worked as a Human Resources Superintendent at both New Zealand's Aluminium Smelter (NZAS) from February 2019 to August 2024 and Pacific Aluminum Company from September 2017 to February 2019. Prior roles include HR Superintendent at NZAS from February 2015 to September 2017 and various positions at Rio Tinto, including Operations Superintendent and Crew Leader. David Stevens holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Otago, completed in 2007.
