Rick Grundy

Rick Grundy is a seasoned technology professional with a robust background in software development and engineering management. As the CTO and Founder of Powerpal Pty Ltd since February 2018, Rick has led the creation of an IoT hardware product designed for the Australian home energy market, overseeing the development of a cross-platform app and a scalable backend architecture. Prior to this, Rick’s experience includes significant roles at Optiver Asia Pacific, managing delivery engineering and trading systems development, as well as consulting positions at ThoughtWorks and RedBubble, where innovative solutions in software engineering were delivered. Rick holds a BSc in Computer Science from Aberystwyth University, completed in 2005.
