Plazi Ricklin

Plazi Ricklin has extensive work experience in engineering and project management roles. From 2017, Plazi worked at Powerphase as the Director of Product Engineering, overseeing a team and multiple projects to deliver Turbophase modules to various customers. This involved managing technical requirements, design, production, testing, and commissioning plans. Additionally, Plazi managed the customer delivery of Turbophase modules for Malaysia and Mexico. Prior to this, Plazi worked as a Project Engineer at Powerphase where they managed projects, set technical requirements, and handled the customer delivery of Turbophase modules.

Before joining Powerphase, Plazi held roles at eSolar. As a Project Manager, Plazi was responsible for the full turnkey delivery of a concentrated solar thermal plant installation in South Australia. This involved managing the detailed design, procurement, logistics, construction, and commissioning, as well as leading a multi-disciplinary team. Plazi also worked as a New Product Development Project Manager and Director of Turbine Design at eSolar.

Earlier in their career, Plazi worked as an Aerothermal Design Engineer at Power Systems Manufacturing and Alstom Power. They also worked at Calpine as a Plant Engineer and Commissioning Support Engineer.

Plazi Ricklin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky in 1999. They continued their education at Princeton University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from 1999 to 2001.
