Gretel Baumgartner

Gretel Baumgartner is a Senior Director of Engineering at PowerSchool as of October 2023. Previously, Gretel served as the Senior Director of Software Engineering and Director of Software Engineering at Intrado from August 2016 to October 2023. Prior to Intrado, Gretel was a Software Engineering Manager at West Corporation following its acquisition of SchoolMessenger, where Gretel worked from January 2007 to January 2015 as a Senior Software Engineer. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Nokia from June 1999 to July 2006 and as a Software Engineer at Borland from December 1993 to January 1999. Gretel holds a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of California Santa Cruz, earned in June 1992.
