Jim Tierney

Jim Tierney currently serves as Principal Engineer at PowerSchool, a role commenced in October 2023. Previously, Jim held the same title at SchoolMessenger from February 2017 to September 2023, and at IDERA Software from October 2015 to February 2017. With extensive experience in data connectivity, Jim has led significant projects, including enhancements to data connectivity frameworks for Linux and the integration of AngularJS clients with Enterprise Mobility Services REST API. Jim's career began at Gupta Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, followed by various roles at Borland Software Corporation, where contributions to Delphi, C++Builder, and Delphi .NET development were made. Education includes a B.S. in Computer Science from California State University, Chico, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
