Katie Waugaman

Katie Waugaman, CEM, currently serves as an Energy Engineer at Power TakeOff, where responsibilities include performing site-level energy modeling and M&V operations to validate program savings. Previous experience includes a role as an Application Engineer at Easter-Owens Electric Co., focusing on customer needs and custom electrical distribution solutions, and as an Energy Engineer at Abraxas Energy Consulting, assisting with large Retrocommissioning projects. Katie also held positions as an Energy Analyst and Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Colorado, where collaboration on studies to promote social responsibility in engineering was a primary focus, and as an Engineering Intern at Southland Industries, contributing to the design of commercial HVAC systems. Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
