💻Emiliano Castagnari has extensive experience in the field of IT and DevOps. 💻Emiliano has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career, starting with SES Sistemas Electronicos in 2005 and Netqual S.R.L. in 2006 as an IT Consultant. 💻Emiliano then moved on to Grupo MOST, where they served as the Technical leader of the IT Department from 2006 to 2013, and later as a Sysadmin & Application Server, where they focused on providing remote assistance and administration to clients' servers.

In 2013, Emiliano joined Open English as a Senior System Administrator and DevOps, where they automated various aspects of the infrastructure. 💻Emiliano then worked at Globant as a DevOps, where they enhanced communication between development teams and sysadmins, and introduced Terraform as an early adopter.

Emiliano continued their career at Jampp, where they built the DevOps team and automated their infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform. 💻Emiliano also collaborated with development teams to design fault-tolerant and self-healing architectures.

At OLX Group, Emiliano served as a Principal DevOps & SRE, focusing on improving the reliability and quality of microservices running on Kubernetes. 💻Emiliano automated various aspects of projects, improved Terraform execution time, and created independent pipelines for application infrastructure requirements.

Emiliano then joined ASAPP as a Staff SRE, where they led efforts to improve automation around infrastructure provisioning and maintenance, resulting in a significant reduction in customer infrastructure provisioning time.

Currently, Emiliano is working as a Principal Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer at PowerToFly.

Emiliano Castagnari attended the University of Buenos Aires from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Electronics. 💻Emiliano also obtained several certifications, including the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2018, the Oracle Linux 6 Implementation from Oracle in 2013, and the RHCE (Redhat Certified Engineer) and RHCSA (Redhat Certified System Administrator) from Redhat in 2012. Additionally, they holds choldications from Oracle and Redhat in various specialties.
