Dalton Jones

Dalton Jones has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dalton started their career in 2010 as a Substitute Teacher and Coach for Randolph County Board of Education. During this time, they worked with students from kindergarten to 12th grade and served as an assistant coach for football and baseball. In 2013, Dalton joined AT&T as a Service Technician, where they gained hands-on experience with Cisco operating systems, Microsoft Office, and network provisioning. Dalton stayed with AT&T until 2019.

In 2019, Dalton worked as a Machinist at Brannon Machine for a brief period. In 2020, they joined PowerUp EDU as the Director of Esports. Here, they successfully developed an Esports program for k12 and collegiate institutions and established partnerships with industry-leading companies. Dalton is credited with creating a comprehensive product for Esports in Education that prepares students for college and careers.

Finally, in 2021, Dalton became a Content Creator for ThatGirlDadGamer (TGDG), focusing on gaming and Esports in Education content. Dalton has garnered over 1k followers across various platforms, with a significant following on Facebook Gaming.

Dalton Jones has completed some coursework in the field of biology/pre-med at Birmingham-Southern College. Dalton also obtained an Advanced Diploma from Wadley High School in 2009. Additionally, they took some classes in Communication, General at Southern Union State Community College. Dalton has also obtained a high school diploma from Wadley High School. Moreover, they hold a certification as a Certified Fiber Optic Specialist/Outside Plant Installation from the Fiber Optics Board.
