Matthew Sanders

Matthew Sanders is a legal professional with extensive experience in various roles related to law and operations within the public and private sectors. Currently serving as Senior Associate Counsel for the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, Matthew acts as the primary legal contact for multiple URA departments and negotiates inter-governmental agreements with the City of Pittsburgh. Previously, Matthew held positions as Operations and Development Manager at the Community Growth Fund and Equal Justice Works Fellow at the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group, focusing on community development and access to capital. Early career experiences include roles at several law firms, where Matthew gained significant litigation experience in both insurance defense and personal injury cases. Matthew holds a Juris Doctor from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Georgetown College.
