Chelsea Averitt

Chelsea Averitt is an experienced educator with a progressive career spanning over a decade in various teaching and administrative roles. Currently serving as an Administrative Principal Intern at Powhatan School, Chelsea demonstrates leadership by fostering inclusive learning environments and empowering parents in service referrals. Previous experience includes teaching at Loudoun County Public Schools and San Diego Unified School District, where Chelsea contributed to behavior intervention plans and developed anti-bullying initiatives. Chelsea has also held special education and behavior-focused teaching positions in multiple school districts. Chelsea holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Teacher Preparation from Wheeling University.
