Mary MacLachlan

Mary Maclachlan is a seasoned program manager and software engineering leader with extensive experience in driving the development of innovative technological solutions across various sectors. Currently serving as Program Manager for Software & Data at Powin, effective March 2024, Mary focuses on creating an organization-wide project management office and authoring a data strategy while overseeing telemetry data for Battery Energy Storage Systems. Previously, as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Smile.io, Mary led global Agile teams and managed a widely-used loyalty SaaS application. Mary's career includes senior roles at Cirium, Medio Systems, RealNetworks, Intrinsyc Software, and BSQUARE, with a strong emphasis on program management, team leadership, and software engineering excellence. Mary holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Carleton University.
