Johnstone Musisi

Johnstone Musisi has a wide range of experience in operations, government affairs, and community relations. Most recently, they have been the Director of Operations and Government Affairs at Powwater since 2021. Prior to that, they were Manager of Government and Community Affairs, Partnerships, Regulatory Compliance, and Operations at Sanergy from 2014-2021. Johnstone also held roles as Assistant Manager of Government and Community Relations, Operations, and Regulatory Compliance, Government and Community Relations Officer, and Assistant Government and Community Relations Officer at Sanergy. From 2012-2014, they were a Project Social Worker at AMPATH Kenya, Deputy Principal and Examinations Officer at Eldoret Splendid College, Head of Social Work and Community Development Department and Students Counselor at Bridges Hospitality College, and Medical Social Worker at Jumuia Friends Kaimosi Mission Hospital. Their earlier experience includes roles as Assistant Registration Officer/Election Education Officer/Deputy Presiding Officer at the Electoral Commission of Kenya from 2007-2011 and Evaluator of Children's Reading Tents at the National Book Development Council of Kenya from 2004-2007.

Johnstone Musisi is currently a candidate for a Master of Arts in Leadership at Pan Africa Christian University (PAC) in Nairobi, Kenya. Johnstone is also a Certified Professional Mediator from Boma Training Institute. Previously, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Political Science from University of Lucknow.
