Laura Katzif

Laura Katzif, MEP, NRP, serves as the Community Security Advisor for JShield at the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, focusing on security program support for Jewish organizations in Northern Virginia. Additionally, Katzif is the Director of Security at Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia, leading a security team to ensure the safety of members and visitors. With a background as an Emergency Management Consultant and experience as a short-term consultant at The World Bank, Katzif has also worked with FEMA as a reservist and has served in various firefighting roles, including Fire Medic at the City of Fairfax Fire Department. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication and Political Science, both from The George Washington University.
