Lian Stoeldraaijers

Lian Stoeldraaijers serves as the President of the Dutch Association of Diabetes Podiatrists since November 2019, focusing on preventing amputations and enhancing foot care for individuals with diabetes. Lian also holds the role of National Representative at D-Foot International, contributing to global efforts in diabetic foot prevention and care. Additionally, Lian is a member of the Local Organizing Committee for the Diabetic Foot (ISDF), part of a multidisciplinary diabetic foot team at Eurocept Clinics (Da Vinci Kliniek), and involved in the National Guideline Committee for Diabetic Foot, which develops clinical practice guidelines. Lian's commitment extends to being a Board Member of Wound Platform Netherlands and a Committee Member for the Quality Standard Organisation of Wound Care, aiming to establish standards for complex wound care. With a robust background as a Diabetes Podiatrist in private practice since 1987, Lian also imparts knowledge as a teacher at the Nursing Academy, focusing on the diabetic foot. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Diabetes Podiatrist and a Bachelor of Science in Podiatrist from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven.
