Rod Brenneman has spent 25 years in senior leadership positions in protein and consumer products companies including 14 years as president and chief executive officer of two different companies. Most recently, Mr. Brenneman served as President & CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Butterball, LLC where he was tasked with turning around and leading the world's largest turkey producer and processor. While at Butterball, Mr. Brenneman grew the company from $1.2 billion to $1.7 billion in three years. Prior to his tenure at Butterball, Mr. Brenneman spent more than 22 years with Seaboard Corporation, where he served the company in various leadership capacities. Through his senior leadership positions at Seaboard, including serving as President & CEO of Seaboard Foods for over 11 years, Brenneman helped build Seaboard Foods from its infancy to a $1.7 billion dollar pork processing company. Mr. Brenneman has served on several Boards during his career and currently serves as a Strategic Advisor to several companies and is on the Boards of CrossFirst Holdings, LLC, Clemens Family Corporation, Goldsboro Milling Company / Maxwell Foods, Mckee Foods Corporation, and Lifesong for Orphans. He has also served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committees of several industry trade associations, including the American Meat Institute from 2001 to 2014 and as its Chairman in 2009 and the National Turkey Federation from 2011 to 2014. Mr. Brenneman is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wichita State University.
