Romuald Pawluczyk

Chief Scientist at P&P Optica

Romuald Pawluczyk is currently the Chief Scientist at P&P Optica. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher III at INO from September 1989 to February 1995. Romuald then moved on to work as a Spectrometer designer at CME from May 1995 to February 2004. During their time at CME, they developed an instrument that could measure blood analytes without the use of any chemical reagents. This instrument was patented in Canadian Patent 2475622. Romuald then co-founded P&P Optica Inc. in January 1995 and served as the company's Chief Scientist until December 2004. Prior to their work at INO and CME, Pawluczyk worked as a Researcher at Litton System Canada from October 1986 to August 1989. Romuald also spent some time as a Visiting Professor at Technical University at Vigo from April 1986 to June 1986.

Romuald Pawluczyk earned their PhD in Optics/Optical Sciences from Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Warsaw in 1965. Romuald's field of study was Nuclear Physics and they earned their MSc in physics in 1965.

Romuald Pawluczyk reports to Olga Pawluczyk, CEO. They work with Heather Galt - VP Marketing, Kevin Turnbull - VP of Sales, and Hernan Miguel - Head of Hardware Engineering.
