Daniel Ameijenda

Vice President Latin America & Caribbean at PPC Broadband

Daniel Ameijenda has extensive experience in sales, management, and engineering roles in the telecommunications industry. Daniel started their career at Equital as a Network Architect from 1993 to 1996. Daniel then worked at Procable as a Systems Engineer based in Madrid, Spain, from 1997 to 2000. In 2000, they joined Motorola as a Manager Sales Support in Spain, where they demonstrated expertise in introducing innovative technology and managing customer interfaces. Daniel later became the EMEA Senior Systems Engineer-Manager, based in Madrid and Spain, from 2004 to 2009, gaining experience in delivering solutions and optimizing resource utilization. Since 2009, they have been with PPC Broadband, Inc. - A Belden Brand, starting as the Latin America Territory Manager. Daniel successfully managed 9 countries and achieved tremendous growth, leading to a promotion to Director of Latin America. Daniel then became the Director of Latin America - Intl Broadband & Satellite Business, where they achieved triple-digit growth and introduced a new product category, generating substantial revenue. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Latin America & Caribbean, responsible for sales, engineers, and customer service across +40 countries, with full regional P&L responsibility and a multi-million-dollar budget. Daniel has achieved impressive growth by improving sales execution and funneling.

Daniel Ameijenda obtained their degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad ORT Uruguay between 1986 and 1990. Daniel further pursued their education by completing a degree in Marketing at the same institution from 1992 to 1993. Continuing their professional development, in 2008 Daniel attended the Project Manager Academy and Global Services program at Motorola University in Berlin. In the same year, they also completed a program in Digital Six Sigma Quality System, specifically the Quality IQ Yellow Belt, at Motorola University in Madrid. Additionally, in 2007, Daniel attended a program on Voice of the Customer and Customer Value at Motorola University in London. Finally, in 2000, they participated in the Leadership Institute and Coaching Team program organized by Kaizen in London, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
