Dr. Shweta Mahant

Dr. Shweta Mahant is a Senior Scientist at PPD since March 2022, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Virginia Commonwealth University and as an Assistant Professor at Amity Institute of Biotechnology, where responsibilities included research in Medical Molecular Biology, Bacteriology, Immunology, and Bioinformatics, along with academic duties such as teaching and student training. Previously, Dr. Mahant contributed to the Aveshtha-Genome Project as a Research Assistant at AVESTHAGEN LIMITED, focusing on biomarker identification for hereditary diseases. Dr. Mahant holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Amity University, a Master's in Technology from Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, and a Bachelor's in Technology from Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, with early education completed at Girls' High School & College.
