Irene Morillo Alonso is a seasoned professional in pharmacovigilance and drug safety, currently serving as Principal Safety Reporting Specialist at PPD since May 2021. With prior roles including Clinical Assessor at the Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios and Regulatory Affairs & Pharmacovigilance Manager at TiGenix, Irene has extensive experience in the assessment and regulation of pharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance and safety management for various therapeutic areas. Additionally, Irene has held key positions at Sandoz, Astellas Pharma, and Janssen Inc., where responsibilities encompassed adverse event reporting, regulatory submissions, and clinical study oversight. Irene holds a Master’s in Farmacoepidemiología and Farmacovigilancia from Universidad de Alcalá and a Master in Pharmaceutical Industry from CESIF.
