Daniel Votápek has extensive work experience in the fields of information technology and management. Daniel currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at PPF banka, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the IT Business DevOps Director at CSOB from February 2017 to June 2022.
From 2012 to 2017, Daniel Votápek worked at KBC Global Shared Services, where they held the roles of Executive Director ICT Development and Senior Manager ICT Development - Core Banking Systems.
Daniel also had a short period as a Freelancer in 2012, working as a Consultant.
Before that, they spent a significant amount of time at T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s., where they held various high-level positions such as Vice President Information Technology, Vice President Category and Product Management, Vice President Service Development, and Senior Project Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for corporate IT systems, programs and project delivery, strategy development, marketing mix, portfolio and project management, and the implementation of new services.

From 1989 to 1993, they attended SPŠ Ječná 30, Praha 2, where they studied Microelectronics. Daniel did not obtain a degree during this period.
Next, from 1993 to 1999, they enrolled at Czech Technical University in Prague, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science and IT, earning the title of "Ing."
Later, between 2005 and 2008, they attended Sheffield Hallam University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA). The field of study for this degree is not specified.
In addition to their formal education, Daniel Votápek has acquired two additional certifications. In February 2021, they became a Certified SAFe 5 Agilist through Scaled Agile, Inc. And in May 2017, they obtained the Prince2 Foundation certification from Symphera s.r.o.
