Arif Mubarok

Arif Mubarok, PhD, currently serves as New Product Development Manager and Group Leader II at PPG, where responsibilities include maintaining the innovation pipeline and managing strategic R&D projects focused on corrosion protection mechanisms. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Research Metallurgist at Deringer-Ney Inc., Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Research Specialist at the University of Connecticut, where contributions spanned areas such as metallurgical support, mechanical testing, and alloy development. Arif Mubarok holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a BS in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
