Parag Akre

Parag Akre has over 15 years of experience in the coatings and paint industry, currently serving as the Global R&D Color Director at PPG Industries since August 2009. Prior to this role, Parag held positions such as Manager of CRD Support and CRD Manager within PPG Industries, showcasing a strong trajectory in leadership and technical expertise. Earlier in the career, Parag served as a Section Leader at PPG Industries and as a Paint Technologist at Asian Paints from 1998 to 2002. Parag Akre holds a B.Sc.Tech in Paint Technology from the University of Mumbai, obtained between 1995 and 1998.
