Takashi Kubo

Takashi Kubo is an experienced executive currently serving as President of PPG Japan and Board Director of PPG PMC Japan since January 2021. Prior to this role, Kubo held multiple senior positions at HARMAN International from January 2014 to December 2020, including Vice President and General Manager of Japan Automotive Sales, Vice President of Special Project Development, and Vice President of Automotive Sales for Toyota Lexus. Additional experience includes serving as Division Director at Donaldson in 2013, Director of all Japan accounts at Kongsberg Automotive from 2011 to 2012, and Global Key Account Manager for Toyota at Schaeffler from 1999 to 2010. Kubo began a career in financial analysis at a financial service company from 1992 to 1999. Academic qualifications include a degree in Business Administration from Kyushu University and an MBA from Rikkyo University Graduate School.
