International Business Development Manager at PPI Beauty

Chloe Liu has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Beginning in 2009, they worked as a Trainee of EU Coordination Centre at Osmangazi Municipality. In 2010, they served as an Event Management Intern at the European Union Centre in Taiwan. Chloe went on to work as a Market Research Intern at Club Marketing Barcelona in 2012.

Chloe'scareer took off in 2012 when they joined Imperial Brands PLC as a Global Management Trainee. Over the course of their time there, they held several positions including Global Marketing Experience Manager, Business Transformation Manager/PMO for North Asia, and Travel Retail Sales & Marketing Manager for Davidoff. Chloe played a key role in implementing a new global operating model in the APAC region, launched a Global Brand Activation Portal, and developed a global customer service brand.

In 2017, they joined Newell Brands as a Trade Strategy Manager for the EMEA market. During their time at the company, Chloe acted as the key contact for North America's product innovation commercial, led commercial analytics, and monitored brand performance.

Chloe's work experience also includes a role as Global Sales Manager at The Somerset Toiletry Company from 2019 to 2021, where they headed the Export department and devised global sales strategies for various European markets.

Prior to their current role, Chloe worked at Hawkins & Brimble Ltd as an International Sales Manager, where they managed the company's top export market in China, set up general trade registrations, and recruited new business from emerging markets.

Currently, Chloe Liu is the International Business Development Manager at PPI Beauty, responsible for driving international business development across the EMEA and APAC markets. Chloe focuses on the company's core brands, such as EcoTools®, Real Techniques®, and Freeman Beauty®, leading the efforts to deliver prestigious quality and affordable pricing in the makeup brush industry.

Chloe Liu has a diverse education history. In 2006, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from National Chengchi University. Following this, in 2010, they pursued a field of study in Public Policy and Public Management at the University of York, although the degree obtained during this period is unspecified. In 2011 and 2012, Chloe attended Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Business Management.

More recently, in 2019, Chloe enrolled at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, to obtain a Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing through the Disruptive Strategy Programme. Additionally, they acquired a certification specifically for the Oxford Digital Marketing: Disruptive Strategy Programme in May 2019 from the same institution.
