Farzad Kharrati

Project Order Manager at PPI - Precision Pulley & Idler

Farzad Kharrati has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Farzad started their career as a Technical Support Engineer at Tanavob in 2003 and later worked as a Piping Department Engineer. Farzad then joined Metso Minerals, where they served as an After Market Product Support Engineer until 2009. After that, they worked as a Mechanical Construction Coordinator at PANA Co. from 2009 to 2011.

In 2011, Farzad took on the role of a Mechanical Project Engineer at Tanavob, where they supervised mechanical installations and provided design advice and support. Farzad also generated new design concepts and maintained various engineering documents. After leaving Tanavob in 2013, they joined Just Energy as a Local Sales Engineer, where they managed client accounts, prepared sales contracts and proposals, and conducted market analysis.

From 2013 to 2015, Farzad served as a Production Manager at Cohan Asin (CASTco). Farzad then worked at Factors Group of Companies from 2015 to 2018, first as a Mechanical/Production staff member and later as an Encapsulation Coordinator.

Currently, Farzad is employed at PPI - Precision Pulley & Idler since 2018 as a Project Order Manager. In this role, they manage custom project orders for material handling engineering firms and end users. Farzad coordinates with different departments to ensure accurate and timely order processing, reviews project specifications, and ensures compliance with manufacturing standards and terms.

Farzad Kharrati has an Associate's degree in Project Management Essentials which they obtained from the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Sciences degree in Fluid & Heating Mechanics Engineering from Azad University (IAU) between 1999 and 2003.

Additionally, Farzad Kharrati has obtained various certifications in different fields. Farzad completed the AutoCAD 2014 Essential Training courses for Editing and Organizing Drawings, Annotating a Drawing, Interface and Drawing Management, and Drawing Fundamentals from Lynda.com in September 2017 and July 2017 respectively. Farzad has also received technical training in Tailing Thickener Equipment from FLSmidth in 2012.

Farzad Kharrati has obtained certifications from The American Society for Nondestructive Testing in various methods such as Liquid Penetrate Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Radiographic Testing Interpretation, Ultrasonic Testing, and Visual and Optical Testing.
