Rob Psimas

Rob Psimas has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rob started their career as a Summer Intern at IBM in 1995. Rob then worked as a Management Consultant at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, where they handled internal projects and engagements with Fortune 500 companies.

In 2001, they joined SeeBeyond as a Product Architect, designing and implementing EAI projects for various clients, including government agencies and Fortune 500 companies.

From 2004 to 2006, Rob worked at Oracle Corporation as an Integration Architect, where they played a key role in the launch of Oracle Fusion Middleware and business process orchestration platform.

In 2006, they became the Director of Enterprise Information Management/Enterprise Architecture at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, where they developed manpower and training products and led a multi-million dollar contract.

Rob then joined Booz Allen Hamilton in 2011, initially serving as a Senior Lead Technologist/Technical Manager and eventually becoming an Enterprise Transformation Architect - Senior Associate. In these roles, they managed multiple projects related to modern software development, DevSecOps, cloud computing, AI/ML, data science, and mobile application development.

Currently, Rob works as a Principal Product Security at PPL Corporation, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Rob has demonstrated expertise in technology management, digital transformation, architecture, and project management, working with a wide range of clients and leading large teams.

Rob Psimas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce, with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS) and Marketing, from the University of Virginia in 1996. Rob also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with a similar focus from the UVA McIntire School of Commerce in the same year. Additionally, Rob has obtained several certifications including the Cloud Engineering Program from Web Age Solutions in 2020, the Architecting on AWS certification from ExitCertified (Tech Data) in 2019, the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2018, and various other certifications in Agile Project and Delivery Management, ICAgile, CompTIA Security+, Certified Cloud Architect, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
